Jason is originally from Nelson but moved down to Christchurch after a stint working in Australia. He has been working in the construction industry from a young age, originally following in his dads footsteps and working as a builder, but later changing career paths and training as an electrician.

Jason now has almost 15 years experience in the electrical services industry, Specialising in Residential installation Jason has a wide range of experience working on and managing residential electrician projects, anything from spec houses up to multi million dollar architectural builds. Whether you need to install a pendant light or change heatpump filters, Jason is your master electrician.

In his spare time Jason still likes to dabble in some building projects as well as play golf and spend time with his family.

Ray is originally from London and has nearly 20 years experience working within the electrical industry, this experience has been gained across the world in countries including the UK, Dubai and New Zealand.

Ray has a background working on large scale commercial electrical projects as well as new build residential developments. He has worked on many world renowned projects including the shard (Europe’s tallest building), and Dubai international airport (the largest construction site in the world at it's time).

Rays background is in site management, project management and electrical estimating, making him a key asset for commercial, residential and townhouse electrical projects. Ray is an expert in everything from retail fit-outs to business CCTV and emergency electrical repairs.

In his spare time Ray enjoys rock climbing, hunting, snowboarding and spending time with his kids.

Laurence is also from the UK and has 20 years experience in the electrical industry. He started his Career in Manchester - England before taking his skill set to Australia, and finally settling down here in New Zealand.

Specialising in commercial installations, Laurence has played an integral part in helping deliver some prestigious projects including Google, PWC and Astra Zeneca.

During his career he has helped build and manage teams of electricians capable of presenting high quality work within budgets. Laurence is a specialised electrician in all things heat pump maintenance, home security and solar panel installation.

In his spare time Laurence participates in long distance running events and enjoys nothing more than the joys of family life.

Mark has worked in the electrical services sector for 20 years, both in New Zealand and abroad in Australia and the UK. His experience spans a variety of interesting sites, including residential housing, heritage-listed buildings, universities, sports complexes, and high-profile government buildings.

Returning to his hometown of Christchurch, Mark now works as an Electrical Estimator and Quantity Surveyor. He has played a key role in delivering significant rebuild anchor projects, including commercial and residential electrical work that will benefit the community and future generations. Mark believes that a collaborative and positive approach is fundamental to successful project delivery.

As an outdoor enthusiast, he spends most weekends in the hills or working on projects around the home.

School was out for Danny in 2007 and the very next day he was on site starting his electrical apprenticeship! And he hasn't looked back since.

Originally for Ireland, Danny decided to pack up his tools and came to Christchurch in 2013 to help with the rebuild, and has now made it his home.

With over 18 years experience in the trade and working in Ireland, England, Australia and New Zealand and in the electrical industries of residential, commercial, industrial and solar. Danny's skill set is broad which makes him a great project manager working on everything from security systems to apartment electrical.

In Danny's spare time he enjoys fitness, plays weekend football and is always keen on camping trips around the South Island.

With well over a decade of experience in the electrical field, Jared brings a wealth of expertise to our team. Specialising in new builds, renovations, servicing, and heat pumps, Jared has honed a skill set that combines technical proficiency with a keen eye for detail. His extensive background in these areas ensures that every project is completed with precision and care.

Outside of work, Jared is passionate about music and enjoys playing the guitar. Jared also cherishes spending quality time with family, which adds a balanced and fulfilling dimension to his life. This blend of professional skill and personal interests contributes to his well-rounded approach to both work and life.

Zoe originates from London but has lived in Christchurch for over 10 years.

Zoe has a master’s degree in history and a degree in teaching, but since moving to NZ she has worked in administration.

Zoe was the administration manager for Harrington’s brewery's before she took on the role of office manager at JRL Electrical. She is an expert bookkeeper and a wizard with our accounting and job management software packages. Whether it's a solar or heating and ventilation project, Zoe is dedicated to keeping everything running smoothly with her exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

In her spare time Zoe enjoys music, hiking, crossword puzzles and spending time with her children.
